Programming Note: Since the beginning of Boxy Ladies, I have loved having a regular posting schedule of Monday-Friday. However, since Jill is still out of commission for a bit, I’m not sure I can hold that schedule by myself, so I’m going to aim to post every Monday/Wednesday/Friday til she’s back. Thanks for understanding!

I was super excited when I heard about the special edition French Glossybox that was sent to all subscribers in October!

Glossybox is known for its amazing packaging. It really is the best in the business. Just look at how beautiful this box is!  And then you remember there are fun products inside! For $21/month, Glossybox sends a mix of full-sized and deluxe samples of high end beauty products.
Even the edges of the box are beautiful!   Included in every box is a card that describes all the products and also some helpful beauty tips or info! Sometimes the tips are super helpful and sometimes they say things like, “To achieve a show-stopping look, pair your gloss with a black liquid eyeliner to create the classic cat-eye.” Groundbreaking stuff, Glossybox!
Here is everything they included this month!
Nail Lacquer in Voyage à Paris ($10/full-size)
De Bruyère Paris Red Lipgloss ($17.50/full-size)

What kind of a French box would this be if It didn’t include a red lipstick or red nail polish? This box obviously needed both because what’s more classic or French than that? I obviously do not need another red nail polish or  lip gloss but they definitely enhanced the French box!
Phyto Phytokératine Repairing Thermal Protectant Spray ($32/full-size)

I don’t like to use too many leave-in conditioning type products on a regular basis so I may be donating this product as well, even though it looks like it could be really nice if I had a different hair type!

Vichy Idéalia Skin Deep ($35/full-size)

This is a lovely balm-y, gel-y sleep mask! I am really into these lately. They aren’t heavy but lock in moisture and feel great on the skin at night. I haven’t been able to use this for a long time but I definitely plan on incorporating this into my routine.
Sabe Masson Le Soft Perfume ($25/full-size)

This perfume had hilariously complicated packaging. But that makes it a little more fun anyway! You get to open a second present. The perfume smelled really fresh and maybe a hint of baby powder as well.

This is a great perfume to keep in your bag for on-the-go touch ups. And seriously, the packaging is so cute! But something to note… the perfume doesn’t exactly go on sheer. It almost looks like a highlighter on the skin. Not a huge deal but just something to note.

Final Grade: A

Glossybox gets bonus points for its packaging but this box was the whole package this month! This French-themed box was the whole package! They included red lips/tips in addition to great skin and hair care and a beautiful smelling French perfume. What’s not to love?
