I’m new to Memebox (pronounced “me-me box”), but I was in the market for a few different face masks so I figured I’d give it a go. Memebox is entirely K-beauty. I’m totally into Korean skincare, so I’ve been curious about getting one of their rotating pre-curated boxes. Unlike a subscription box, these are one-off boxes that you can buy whenever you want, no subscription necessary. Plus you can see exactly what’s in the box before you decide to buy.

I was really intrigued by the Shara Shara box. For $33, it came packed with great stuff. It was entirely skincare, no makeup here. Plus I’ve heard rumblings about the various Shara Shara ampoules that have stormed the K-beauty market, namely the honey one. Another mysterious goo to slather on my face? Sign me up.

Black Source Eye Sunglass – $3.00: This is the only sheet mask in the box, and it’s adorable. It’s an eye mask that covers only the eye region of your face, making you look like Batman. I did notice that the skin around my eyes and upper cheeks was quite moisturized and bright after, but feeling like Batman was the best part of it.

Kissing Sugar Lip Scrub – $8.00: I’ve actually been in the market for a lip scrub recently. My lips have been super dry and just kind of meh. This scrub smells amazing and was SUPER moisturizing despite being so exfoliating.

Berry Bomb All-in-One Ampoule – $30.00: This ampoule is primarily the reason I bought the Shara Shara box. The honey bomb is similar, but made of honey essence, and has sent the K-beauty fan girls all a titter. In reality it’s a little weird, but effective. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but slimy goo was surprising. Also, the bottle is HUGE, so it will last for a very, very long time. It’s supposed to replace toner, serum, and moisturizer – I can see that working in the summer, but my skin is so ridiculously dry in the winter that it might not be enough. TBD.

Water Girl’s Ice Cream – $18.00: Look, I’ve mentioned it probably a dozen times before, but I am really not into gel-creams. My skin is just so dry that they never give me quite enough moisture. This gel-cream, however, is astonishing. It’s SUPER moisturizing, mega-absorbent, and ultra smoothing. I actually like it! Like, a lot.

White Stem Sleeping Mask in Brightening – $16.00: I have come to really love sleeping masks. Julep’s Night Shift is one of the best, and I use it regularly. This stem cell complex is supposedly even better, but I haven’t been able to tear myself away from Julep’s version yet to try it. Based on how much I like Shara Shara’s other products, it’s likely this one will be awesome as well.

Final Rating: A+

I really, really liked this box. The retail value is $75 but I paid just $33. Shara Shara is an increasingly popular K-beauty brand and I totally see why now. The products are all made from natural extracts and ingredients, and they are super effective. I will definitely be buying more Memebox boxes in the future!
