Welcome to the subscription box I always forget that I have. And at $5 a quarterly box, it can be easy to forget the Walmart Beauty Box. I wasn’t too impressed with the last box and I’m not even sure I reviewed it because I just couldn’t be bothered. However, Spring 2016 is redeeming it for me!

Walmart typically releases two types of boxes, though they don’t specify it on their site: a “younger” version and an “older” version. Since you are asked to enter your birthday, this is how they determine which box you will get. I’ve always gotten the younger version so a few months ago, I changed my birthday year in my profile to see if I can get the older version next time. The older version usually contains more skincare and anti-aging which I am more interested in than some of the other products. I didn’t love the first box I got with that “older” profile but this time it hit the mark!

And look at everything we got! A bunch of deluxe samples and even a full-size Neutrogena Moisturesmooth Color Stick! That Bioré Baking Soda Pore Cleanser is in my shower RIGHT NOW. I love Jergens Natural Glow during the summer months! And um, everyone needs toothpaste, and I’ve always been a Colgate girl, so I’m excited to throw this Colgate Optic White toothpaste in my travel bag. My Dermatologist recommended the CeraVe brand to me, so I’m interested in having this CeraVe Healing Ointment on hand. If I was a brunette, I’d be excited about the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Visibly Brighter shampoo. I’m pretty neutral about the Curél Itch Defense body wash, but not a bad thing for some people to have.

They also threw in some foil samples and coupons from L’Oreal, Neutrogena, Burt’s Bees, Colgate and even a Vera Wang perfume sample!

Final Grade: A+

For the price of a latte, you can receive a little quarterly box of deluxe samples. I was super happy this season, and I look forward to see what they send when I forget I have this box in a few months! 🙂
