Hey everyone! And welcome to our review of the November Target Beauty Box!

Target Beauty Box

Price: $7-$10/month, but not a subscription. You just have to sign up to receive our emails and we will let you know when they go on sale!

Box Type: This is a beauty/skincare box that contains products you can find in Target. Some are your typical drugstore fare and others are new, cool products that Target is bringing to the forefront.

Why you’ll love it: First, the value is always amazing – you will only pay about $10 and you’ll always get a few full-size products that make the box worth much more than you paid. Second, shipping is usually free. (It wasn’t one time, but it usually is.) Third, who doesn’t love Target?

L’Oréal Voluminous Primer ($5.99): I have never thought that mascara primers did much good. If you get a really good mascara (like this one!) you won’t need a primer. Or else you can just layer different mascaras. It also always annoyed me that they were white. But if they weren’t they would just be another mascara and they wouldn’t be able to sell you a new product!

Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner ($5.49): I am sad to say that I’m not a huge fan of this eyeliner either. It has a good dark color but it wasn’t super smooth to apply when I tested it.

Laneige Water Bank Soothing Mask ($24/5-pack): I love these masks. I’m not sure if I like them enough to buy the full 5-pack of them but these are my favorite sheet masks. They also look the scariest, if you’re into scaring your significant other. (I know I always say that BUT I HAVE SO MUCH FUN DOING IT. I want everyone to have fun.) They have more of a gel texture than a paper texture so they are kind of slimy in the best way and my skin just feels amazing afterwards. I’ll always buy a Target box with a Laneige product in it because it’s always worth the money!

L’Oréal Advanced HairCare Volume Filler Thickening Shampoo ($3.57): Of course, I don’t really think that shampoo can make your hair thicker… but this stuff really DOES make the texture appear a little frizzier, which in turn will make it look a bit bigger. However, I definitely would recommend a different shampoo if you have dry or color-treated hair.

HASK Keratin Protein Soothing Deep Conditioner ($1.99): I haven’t had the chance to try this yet but I’m looking forward to it! I put my hair through a lot with dyeing and heat styling. So we will see if I end up liking this one.

Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Beautiful Day Cream ($24.99/full-size): OK, the first thing that you need to know is that this REALLY DOES smell like roses. Like, a lot. If you are sensitive to scent, I don’t think this lotion is for you. This is a nice lightweight lotion that may not be great for the winter if you have dry skin but might be worth holding onto for the Spring/Summer months.

W3LL People Bio Brightener Stick ($25?): I wasn’t quite sure what to link to because W3LL People doesn’t sell a Bio Brightener Stick on its own but they do sell it in this set. I was interested in trying something from W3LL People because I’ve heard of it but hadn’t tried anything yet. Highlighters can be tricky- some can be too glittery, some are too shimmery, some aren’t the right color. But the best just look like your skin but better – and this one does. I am excited to use this for a bit and then I might think about trying some other products, too.

Final Grade: B

This isn’t my favorite Target box but of course I’ll always buy these boxes because of the incredible value. I love the Laneige mask and the opportunity to try a few brands I hadn’t yet reviewed – W3LL People seems like it’s going to be a real winner.

If you are interested in grabbing the next Target Beauty Box, you can’t subscribe, but you can sign up for our emails (or Like us on Facebook!) and we will tell you when you can snap one up!
