You’ll have to forgive me, I got a bit behind on my December boxes during the holiday chaos so I’m going to try to catch up this week so I can clear things out for my January reviews! Here’s my review on my Allure Beauty Box!
Price: $15.00/month
Box Type: Monthly beauty box featuring 6 high end beauty product samples (and sometimes full-sized products!).
Why you’ll love it: Top brands, great price, new products that you will love! A great way to sample expensive products without committing to the price tag. Each box comes with an Allure mini-magazine that showcases each product and is as quality as you’d expect from a magazine powerhouse like Allure.
So let’s see what we got in December!
I’m pretty happy with this loot!
European Wax Center Oh My Brow Brow Highlighter ($19): Weirdly enough, I couldn’t find this for sale ANYWHERE, so I’m not really sure where to tell you to find this for yourself. That said, this is a decent brow highlighter that would also be great for the inner corners of your eye.
Coastal Salt & Soul Heavenly Hand Cream in Mediterranean Citrus ($10/full-size): I’m grateful for any hand cream that I receive in the winter because my knuckles are always cracking and flaking. This one smells great, but I happen to gravitate to citrus scents.
Tula Advanced Neck Cream ($80/full-price): I always forget to moisturize my neck but hopefully this cream will get me in the habit of doing this regularly!
Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré ($28/full-price): I haven’t tried this moisturizer yet but the mini-mag tells me that makeup artists swear by it, so I’m going to put this into my routine for a few days and see what happens!
Beautyblender Liquid Blendercleanser ($30/full-price): When I got my first Beautyblender, I started with this liquid cleanser which worked really well! I eventually switched to the solid because I think it lasts longer but this is great for not only your Beautyblender, but your brushes also!
SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense ($90/full-size): I’ve always wanted to buy a full-size SkinCeuticals product but I just never want to throw down the money for it! All of the Allure editors always rave about their products so I always use every last drop of the samples I get from Allure! I am getting older and I also get the occasional blemish, so I’ll definitely use this.
Final Grade: A
This was the best Allure Beauty Box I’ve received in awhile. They finally stoppled sending me Bvlgari perfume! (I’m pleased.) I’ll basically use every single product they sent, so I am really happy!
