I really look forward to my Birchbox arriving these days. They’re really nailing the customization now. It’s like they’re spying on me during my morning routine and taking notes on what I personally need/want to try. Fingers crossed they’re not that creepy. *Looks around* They’re not, right?

This month’s box was themed “Magic Inside.” There was indeed magic inside, Birchbox. Shall we check it out?

Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Cream ($48 for full-size): This was my sample choice this month! I am a big fan of Dr. Jart+ products, they’re always solid. Tiger grass has been a hot ingredient in K-beauty products for a while, so it’s nice to see it making some waves here in the US. Tiger grass is a natural redness reducer and is calming for sensitive skin. This moisturizer is great even if you don’t have sensitive skin!

Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask ($58 for full-size): First of all, this sample size is huge. It’s actually 25% of the full-size bottle! I’ll get several uses out of this one for sure. This resurfacing mask is a beta-hydroxy treatment is gentle and totally fine for sensitive skin (YESSSSSS!!). It leaves your skin smooth, soft, even toned, and fresh. Love it.

Amika Nourishing Mask ($28 for full-size): I love this hair mask! I’ve gotten samples of it before and I was happy to get another one. It deeply conditions your hair without weighing it down. The result is super shiny, bouncy, healthy hair. I swear it even took care of some split ends I was developing too!

R+Co High Dive Moisture + Shine Cream ($27 for full-size): This styling cream battles frizz, softens locks, and smooths hair. It’s probably meant for someone with courser hair than mine, but it smells great and using a little on my ends did make my locks shine like crazy.

The Beauty Crop GRLPWR Liquid Lipstick in Imma Bawse ($15 – received full-size!): I love it when Birchbox sends full-sized products! I wish it wasn’t in such a bold color, but my sister will love it and that’s fine by me. This liquid matte lipstick is super hydrating despite being matte, with vitamin E and shea butter preventing lips from drying out. The color is seriously pigmented, which is great if you like big lip colors.

Final Rating: A+

I am really pleased with this month’s Birchbox. I have wanted to try the Cicapair cream since it came out, and they included a full-sized lip product this month! The Tata Harper mask was surprisingly my favorite item this month, and the sample is HUGE! Sample choice for the May box just opened up, and it was really tough to choose between the products – I have high hopes for the rest of the box!
