Last time we did a Want It Wednesday Subscription Box Edition, Jill talked about the boxes that she wanted. This made me jealous and so I decided to come up with a list of boxes I want. There are several.
Essentially I want ALL the makeup boxes. I have tried to limit myself to the ones I have… but at some point, these might come to my house.
- e.l.f. Beauty Bundle: For $20 (plus S&H) you get a LOT of stuff every 8 weeks. A LOT OF STUFF. LOOK AT ALL OF THE STUFF. e.l.f. isn’t high end makeup but if you read the beauty blogs (and I do) you would know that their stuff is often right next to the high end stuff in terms of dupes and sometimes in terms of quality. You don’t really HAVE to spend a lot of money to look good. They send you a ton of different stuff every 2 months and it all looks great. I can’t bring myself to buy this right now because I have a ton of makeup. I don’t really need a ton more. But this would be a great subscription if you were trying to build your collection or if you wanted to try a ton of new things.
- Wantable Makeup: I was really close to hitting BUY NOW on this one but I have managed to restrain myself. Like their other subscriptions, you can pay $36/mo or $40 for a one time purchase. They will send you 4-5 premium products based on a quiz about your makeup likes/dislikes. Essentially every box is picked for you. I have resisted this box so far because, like I said, I have SO much makeup. But it’s so tempting. However, after my Intimates box and my scary Accessories box, it’s probably for the best that I hold off for now. Maybe forever.
- Nicely Noted: This isn’t makeup. I KNOW. It’s still a box I want, though. For $20/mo they will send you a box 3 hand pressed note cards and stamps. This is probably too much for 3 note cards and stamps. That’s why I haven’t signed up yet. I cannot rationalize it. I do not have quite that level of expendable income. (Yet.) But I just love the idea of getting cards in the mail and then sort of being “forced” to send notes to people. I love sending letters and cards to people, yet I do it so infrequently. I feel like this would be a great way to do that on a regular basis. Also you could hold onto different cards for special occasions. And these are special cards. Not cards you will find in Target. The paper will be nice, and the person you send it to will feel extremely special.
These are just a few of my subscription box dreams. I have many, many more. But if I shared them all now, I would ruin the surprise, you all would be mad at me and Boxy Ladies would fail. I cannot be responsible for all of that, so I will do a Part 2 at some point in the future. To Be Continued…
