For this edition of Friday Favorites, I’m listing my current 4 Awesome Things I Currently Can’t Live Without. It’s all pretty random, but everything is awesome.

Bliss-Fabulips-Glossy-Balm1. Bliss Fabulips Glossy Lip Balm – $14.00: It was 10 degrees F in Baltimore today. My lips are chapped. So very chapped. I struggle all winter long with dry lips, and as a result I have become something of an expert on weather-appropriate lip balms. There is really no other way around it. Shea butter, jojoba, and vitamin E kicks so much cold weather ass that you can’t really top that combination, and that’s exactly what’s loaded into Fabulips. Your lips instantly become smooth and soft, plus it smells really nice. The reason I love this balm so much is that it’s also a gloss, so your lips look really good while they’re being hydrated. Bonus, you can find this balm at TJ Maxx all the time for less than half price.

11305_022. Bauble Bar’s Jumbo Jaws Pendant – $32.00 (currently on sale for $15!): If I had to describe my favorite jewelry, it would be simple but funky pendant gold jewelry. I can never get enough of it. I have long, short, and everything in between. This particular necklace is the perfect size, it’s somewhere in the middle of being long and short. The pendant is larger than you’d think – about an inch long. It’s solid, and it makes a statement when I wear it. What that statement is, I’m not sure. “I killed a shark and dipped its tooth in gold?” That might not be the statement I’m trying to make, but it looks damn good with t-shirts and dressy shirts alike. Plus, Bauble Bar currently has a 4% cash back Ebate!

S2000-TENS-Unit-1024x8283. TENS Unit – $30-$120: This was my favorite Christmas present this year. My mom introduced me to the magic of TENS Units a couple years ago when she let me borrow hers for a while. It seems like a mid-century torture device, but it’s the best thing for a sore back ever. It’s got little sticky electrode pads that you stick to whatever body part aches that send little electric pulses that feel like the best massage ever. They are seriously amazing little units, and you don’t need a prescription to get one.

wn-sweet-sriracha-uncured-bacon-jerky4. Trader Joe’s Sweet Sriracha Uncured Bacon Jerky – $5.49: Dear god, this is delicious. It’s everything it sounds like it should be, but somehow even better. It’s strips of bacon, candied, seasoned with just enough sriracha to give your tongue a slap, and ready for you to eat with your hands. The bag is resealable, which is really unnecessary because there is no way you’re not finishing that bag. The bacon is also a miracle, because it’s somehow low in calories. Brian and I are now hoarding bags of it every time we go to TJ just in case some terrible thing happens and they discontinue it.

There you have it, four awesome things that you will love. I guarantee it (unless you’re vegan. Then again you’d probably lose your mind and reconsider everything about that if you tried that bacon jerky).

XO

Jill
