New box alert! Ouish is brand spanking new, and I am so excited to be able to review the first box for you all! Specializing in bath and body products, Ouish Boutique opened its doors (well, its .com) just last month and already has people talking. They released their first bi-monthly box in May, which I was really excited about! The owner, Nadia, graciously sent me a box to review and I can’t wait to introduce you guys to her line! Typically the Ouish Box retails for $25.00.
My Ouish box arrived inside a shipping box – one thing that I hate is when the cutest subscription box packaging is ruined by UPS labels and dirt. This pretty pink box was safely tucked inside and I already have plans to re-use it.
This month’s box was an assortment of Bath Muffins! Let me tell you, when I opened the box for the first time it smelled absolutely heavenly in my kitchen. First off, I love bath bombs, bath truffles, bath milks, and anything else you throw into your tub to soften and scent your skin. Add bath muffins to the list because they are awesome! These bath muffins come in four scents – and I honestly can’t choose which one I like the most.
From the enclosed description, the scents are:
Fabulosity – A fabulous blend of red fruits, raspberry, strawberry, & cranberry is enhanced by apples & licorice, with light floral tones gardenia, jasmine, & heliotrope. A background of exotic woods & white musk creates a lingering warmth.
Sweet & Sassy – Sweet, ripe cherries, sugared lemons and lime laced with sweet sugary crystals.
Fairy Queen – A sweet blend of fresh pomegranate and citrus creates natural juicy tones for this sweet heart delight. Creamy undertones of berry and musk are sweetened with vanilla and sugar crystals complete this luscious scent fit for a queen!
Luscious Lady – This fabulous, warm fragrance is overflowing with a delicious combination of fruits and rich florals. Rich fragrant notes of chocolate, rich amber and sensuous musk.
They all smell heavenly. I think Luscious Lady is my favorite. Or maybe Fairy Queen. Ugh I can’t choose, stop pressuring me.
These luxurious little muffins come in their own bag, which is intended to hang over your faucet as you run your bath. All I can say is that they filled the bathroom with such a pleasant scent that they might as well double as aromatherapy muffins. They also leave your skin feeling so soft, but not oily or dry (sometimes bath additives can do that).
Final Rating: A+
After trying the muffins, I really want to try other Ouish products. There are a wide range of products, from cuticle oil to night cream to scrubs and something called Miracle Oil (I’m dying to know what miracles it does), and I am really intrigued by them all.
