I’m sorry for my lateness in writing about Pennie Post! Pennie Post was one of the victims of Boxes That Got Lost In My Move. I really did think I changed my address on everything but you know what? I was wrong.
If you’re just joining us, Pennie Post is a subscription “box”– it’s technically an envelope– that sends about 3 interesting note cards per month with the occasional other paper product thrown in. Previously, you could only buy a month at a time or pre-pay for several months at a time but now they have a regular monthly subscription at $11 a month! Yay!
This month’s collection is called “All that Shimmers.” All of the cards in the collection have some elements of metallics/shine.
This Gold Mermaid Tail Screenprinted Card is really pretty. I don’t have really strong feelings about this one. It’s pretty but I’m also sort like, eh? I love this Everlasting Love Diamond Card. They sent this at a perfect time since it’s wedding season and I’m actually going to a wedding later this month! This is a card I would buy for myself. It looks modern and the paper on both the card and the envelope is very shimmery.
I don’t have a lot to say about this Silver Geo Circle Screenprinted Card. I mean, I like it… But it doesn’t grab me like other cards I’ve gotten from Pennie Post in the past. I’ll definitely use it and I think it looks cool, it’s just not my very favorite.
Final Grade: B
This is my probably the first time I’ve rated Pennie Post lower than an A. While I love this subscription, 2/3 of the cards didn’t grab me like the cards normally do. But they are still cool cards that I will use!
If you’re interested in subscribing to Pennie Post for $11/mo, click here! They don’t do referral links, I just think you should send more cards. The world would be a better place.
