It’s Love With Food time again! It doesn’t get much better than a box of snacks showing up every month for just a few bucks. And you know what’s even better? Their prices just went down. That’s right, they LOWERED their prices. LWF offers a regular tasting box ($7.99-9.99/month), a deluxe tasting box with twice as many samples ($16.50-$19.99), and a gluten-free option ($19.99-$24.99. I stick to the regular tasting box. As a bonus, LWF donates a meal to a hungry child for every box that they sell. Check this awesome box out here!

This month’s theme was “Saturday in Park”, a picnic-themed selection of treats. I don’t get the theme thing, but pretty much everything in it is great (as usual). Here’s a more in-depth look at the June box!

Original Naan Crisps by Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads – These little cracker-like naan rounds are perfect for scooping hummus or eating on their own. Really tasty!

Crazy Hot Popchips by Popchips – Now, I really enjoy spicy things. I like to give just about anything a little kick with sriracha or chili flakes, and I appreciate when snacks get spicy. These had a little heat, but “crazy hot” is definitely an overstatement. LWF regularly sends various Popchips flavors, and they are always a treat to receive!

Brownie Brittle by Sheila G’s – Thin, snack-able, brownie chips. That’s what these are. They’re surprisingly sugary and satisfying, but a little too sweet for me. I was impressed by how much flavor these puppies had given how thin and crispy they were!

Everything Bar by Sheffa – I haven’t tried this yet, but it looks really interesting. I often shy away from protein bars, granola bars, breakfast bars, etc. for the simple reason that they are too sugary for me. A savory bar is totally intriguing and something that I can get behind. Made with seeds, whole grains, and chickpeas, this bar is going to be a post-workout snack for me at some point this week.

Health Bar by Kutoa – Oooh, two bars I’ve never tried before in one box! This bar is peanut butter and jelly flavored, and it looks delicious. Low in calories but made with real food, I can just tell it’s going to be a treat without killing my diet.

Northwest Trail Mix by Emily’s – Trail mix isn’t something that I go out of my way to snack on. It’s always kind of boring, a handful of nuts and dried fruit meant to be more of an energy-boost than a treat. This has a variety of dried fruit that you don’t typically see in train mix, but I still probably will end up eating this when I have no other snacks (just being honest).

Choo Choo Cherry Flavored Dried Cranberries by Funny Face – Ever had Craisins?  Of course you have. These are like Craisins except that they don’t suck. The cherry is actually pretty pleasant and works well with the cranberries.

Classic Iced Tea Candy by Bali’s Best – I thought I’d be totally “meh” about these, but it turns out they’re super tasty. Unique, but tasty.

Final Rating: A

I just love this box. It’s inexpensive, thoughtful, exposes me to great new snacks, and feeds hungry kids, all while keeping my cupboards stocked with snacks. There is literally nothing to dislike about Love With Food!
