Birchbox did a special breast cancer awareness box this month and I had to snag one. Not only is it a great box, it is filled with products from brands who have pledged commitment to helping out either financially or by donating money to awareness campaigns. Pretty cool if you ask me.
Birchbox sends out deluxe, high-end samples at $10/month. They also have an online shop with full-sized versions of the samples you’ve received. Bonus, if you take like 20 seconds to review the items you’ve received you can earn $$ to spend in the shop! Neat.
Darphin Paris Stimulskin Plus – $295 for full size: Oh my god, I am so excited about this cream. This sample alone costs around $30-$40, so the fact that they included this is AMAZING. I have wanted to try this cream forever, people rave about it. It’s a corrective “divine cream” that fixes anything and everything – wrinkles, skin tone, texture, dark spots, if it ails you, this cream will put an end to it. Darphin is such a super luxe brand, I am so excited. Let’s see how long I can make this sample last.
Clinique Moisture Surge – $55 for full size: I love this gel cream. I’ve gotten samples of this in the past, and I’ve really enjoyed them. It’s great for dabbing on dry spots in the winter when it seems like your skin just swallows every bit of moisturizer you throw on it.
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum – $65 for full size: Birchbox has truly outdone themselves this month. If you’ve ever used this eye serum you know how amazing it is. Your eyes just look so much happier in the morning. Soothed, bright, and refreshed, even if you tossed and turned all night. Plus the skin around my eyes always looks so much smoother after I use it.
Clinique Chubby Stick – $17 for full size: I’ve never used a Chubby Stick before, but the color is beautiful. My understanding is that they’re both highly pigmented and super moisturizing, so that sounds like a great combo to me.
Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer – $16-36 for full size: I like this primer, but I rarely use primer (or foundation). It’s smooth like a serum, instead of thick or greasy. You also need very little of it, so even this sample will last quite a while.
As a little bonus they included a breast cancer awareness ribbon! I’m not one to just wear these things, but I’ll find a place for it. It’s always nice to show support, especially for something that afflicts so many women.
Final Rating: A+
I am seriously excited about the Darphin sample, and everything else in the box is awesome as well. I am really loving Birchbox lately, they just keep getting better and better.

I chose this box as well and was really happy with it.
Glad you like it too! I think it’s my favorite Birchbox that I’ve gotten.
