It’s a good thing that I liked this month’s Popsugar Must Have box because I accidentally bought two of them. Popsugar is one of my and Lauren’s favorite monthly boxes, if you’re new around here. For $39.99/month you get an awesome mix of beauty and lifestyle products. It’s always a high-value box that gives you great bang for your buck.

This month’s theme was clearly centered around holidays and celebration, and again I’m really glad I liked it because I ended up with two of everything (oops). There was a great variety this month and it came just in time for Christmas! Check out what was included this month:

Blue Mist Jewelry Box by Swing Design Nova – $36.00: I love this jewelry box. I was ho-hum about it when I saw the spoilers, but I love it in person. The leatherette trim is a beautiful baby blue and the clasp is nice touch.

IMG_4744The interior is lined with white suede, perfect for storing jewelry and trinkets. Since I found myself with two of these beauties, I’m going to load one up with bracelets and one with earrings.

Gold Ombre Bracelet by Luv Aj The Rose – $65.00: Speaking of bracelets and things I was initially unimpressed by, this ombre chain bracelet was the big spoiler this month prior to the boxes shipping. I was SO meh about this thing, it is so not my style. But in person it’s…. dare I say it…. cute. It looks nice on my wrist. It’s sparkly, a good weight, and looks more expensive than I thought it would.

Lunares Geo Stopper by Nima Oberoi – $24.00: This stopper is exactly my style. I don’t know which I love more – geometric shapes or wine. It’s hefty and solid, and looks great sticking out of a half-empty bottle.

Creme Lipstick Trio by Stowaway Cosmetics – $30.00: This company’s whole premise is that sometimes you don’t want full-sized products. Sometimes full-sized products expire or you get sick of them before you’ve used it all. Sometimes you just want something purse-sized that you can carry around with you instead of a whole makeup bag. Sometimes smaller is better, and sometimes a smaller price is best. I am totally on the smaller product/price train, so I can get behind this philosophy. That said, the colors are a bit bolder than what I would typically wear, so one of these sets is going to go to my beautiful sister who can rock bright lipstick way more naturally than I can.

Classic Belgian Chocolate by My Cup of Cake – $5.99: This cake-in-a-cup stuff is pretty cool and becoming quite popular these days in the age of Pinterest and social media. The mix takes just 3 minutes and actually tastes pretty great. It’s not mega sugary and is extremely easy to whip up, so I am totally into it.

Silver Stars Glitter Tape by Meri Meri – $4.00: Who doesn’t want glitter tape? This is one of those fun extras that Popsugar throws in for filler once in a while, and it’s perfectly timed for all these Christmas presents staring at me, needing wrapping. It’s not a huge roll, but it sure as hell is cute.

Gift Tag Stickers + $20 Promo Card by Tiny Prints – $20.00: Like the glitter tape, these gift tag stickers are pretty well-timed with the holidays. Apparently they were designed by Lisa Sugar herself (owner/curator of Popsugar), but more importantly – $20 gift card! Woo!

Final Rating: A

As far as value goes, you can’t beat this – they packed $184.99 worth of stuff into a $39.99 box. I knew I would like this box, but it was even better in person. The bracelet and jewelry box were a much higher quality than I assumed they would be, and I LOOOOOVE the geo wine stopper. I’m really excited to see what they include in the January box!
