It’s an exciting month to subscribe to Love With Food! For each box sold, LWF donates a meal to food banks that provide meals for hungry children, and this month marked the millionth meal donated! How amazing is that?

What an accomplishment. This box is awesome not only for the good they do, but also for how great its contents are – each box is packed with tasty snacks and arrives monthly for $8-$19, depending on what you’d like to receive. I stick to the regular $8 tasting box and have never been disappointed.

I don’t know if it’s the warm fuzzies I got when I saw that they’ve hit such a massive milestone or if I’m just feeling the effects of finally having some warm weather, but this is one of my favorite LWF boxes to date. Let’s see what they sent this month!

All Natural Montmorency Cherries by Stoneridge Orchards – I’m not generally a fan of dried fruit, but there’s something about dried cherries that are so tasty that I don’t even care that I’m eating what I loathe.

Choco Liege Wafel by Belgian Boys – This might be the best thing I have ever gotten in a LWF box. It’s a mini Belgian waffle dipped in dark chocolate. IT’S THE BEST THING EVER. It’s so good, in fact, that I’m buying a case of them on the LWF website (have I mentioned that you earn points for $$$ to spend on the LWF website when you give feedback about what you receive each month? Well, I’m getting these waffles for free as a result.)

Boardwalk Kettle Corn Popped Corn Chips by Popchips – I love Popchips and I love kettle corn. This is kind of an amazing salty sweet combo that I’m surprised I haven’t tried before.

Power Up Trail Mix by Gourmet Nut – Getting back to my stance on dried fruit, I was surprised how much I liked this trail mix. It has way more flavor than normal trail mix, and the pack was big enough to feel like a meal when I ate it after a workout.

Stellar Strawberry Non-Dairy Fruit & Veggie Blend by Ruby Rocket’s – So about this fruit goo trend. I was on board with the various chia seed goos that came with a convenient screw cap to reseal (I mean, how much goo can one consume in a single sitting?), and I managed to get through the frozen fruit goo thing that they included over the summer because it turns out frozen fruit goo is basically a popsicle. This fruit goo, however, is just all around inconvenient. It’s goo, so try eating that like a sophisticated adult (spoiler: you can’t). It’s in a foil pack, so good luck resealing this gigantic sack of goo.

Sea Salt Caramels by Liddabit Sweets – They’re caramels and they’re freaking delicious. A+++ would eat again.

Googly Grape Organic Lollipops by Yumearth – I’m into neither grape flavored items nor lollipops, yet I really like these! Not overly sugary, not artificial tasting, just overall a good, long-lasting piece of candy.

Final Rating: A
