GUYS!! I finally came off the wait list for Play! by Sephora!!! For months I’ve been drooling over Lauren’s Play boxes, super envious of how awesome they are, so I am SO excited to finally be able to subscribe!

Play! is a fairly new endeavor for Sephora, it’s $10 and includes about 6 samples of trending products. There’s a ton of buzz about this new sub, not only for how exclusive it is but also for how great the range of products are included.

This month is The Perfection Collection and each box includes a really nice booklet with tips and info about the products. Even better, the $10 you pay for your subscription accumulates regular Sephora rewards – plus you get bonus rewards! Ok, let’s check out what was in this month’s Play!

The Perfectionist Airbrush Sponge by Sephora: Considering this sponge retails for $12.00 by itself, I’d say it’s a pretty cool addition to this box! I regularly use a Beauty Blender, but every once in a while I wish I had a different sponge just to play around with.

Murad Invisiblur Perfecting Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 30 PA+++: Wow, that’s a lot of pluses. I may not know what three of them mean, but I do know that this product is a 3-in-1 anti-aging treatment, primer, and SPF 30 that feels really nice on your skin and doesn’t leave an oily finish.

Tattoo Liner by Kat Von D: This is a great liquid liner! It’s super opaque and the applicator tip is really even and easy to line your lash line with.

Soy Face Cleanser by Fresh: This happens to be the face wash I use every single night! It’s super gentle, which is necessary for my sensitive skin, but it cleans thoroughly and leaves your skin very soft.

Photo Finish Primer Oil by Smashbox: I don’t really use primer, mostly because I wear foundation so infrequently and it’s not totally necessary with the Dr. Jart BB cream I use, but I actually really like the way this feels under my BB cream! It’s moisturizing and smoothing, which is always nice.

Beach Walk by Republica: I am not always on board with perfume samples but I love the scent of this one. The description says it’s a combination of “fresh and radiant notes of bergamot, coconut milk, lemon, pink pepper, and musk to evoke a familiar but forgotten moment—a walk along a sandy beach,” which is cool, but to me it just smells nice.

This was a little bonus item that they included, it’s a container for you to take to Sephora and get a free pot of custom foundation mixed for your skin tone! Pretty cool.

Final Rating: A+

It’s a pretty good value considering it’s all useful, expensive products for only $10. I’m definitely impressed with my first Play box and can’t wait to see what April has in store!
