I just love Love With Food. It’s one of the most underrated subscription boxes I get; a month of snacks for a modest price tag. The boxes range from $8-$19, depending on how much snacking you plan on doing. Plus they feed hungry children! They are the best. I get the $8 tasting box and it is more than enough snacking for me.

This box comes absolutely packed every month. They are stuffed by legit Tetris masters. After I photograph the snacks I have a hard time closing the box again because everything is packed just so. Not a problem though, we usually eat its contents super fast. Onward!

Coconut Oil Kettle Cooked Potato Chips by Boulder Canyon Authentic Foods – Potato chips are the best. I like to think that coconut is marginally healthier for you than other oils, so these are practically a salad. That’s what I was telling myself when I tore into this bag and then reeled from the tropical scent of coconut emerging from it. I just couldn’t eat these. One bite left an aftertaste of coconut so strong that I had to throw them out. I still feel weirdly guilty about it, like I didn’t give them a fair shake because they are still potato chips, and I love potato chips. But it turns out mixing crispy potato slices and the tropical scent of sunscreen just doesn’t work.

Black Rice Crackers by Laiki – Now these were a different story. I thought for sure I’d hate these given the lack of actual junk food in this junk food, but surprisingly they were delicious, satisfying, and paired perfectly with Trader Joe’s Mediterranean Hummus (yes, Brian, that’s where all the hummus went).

Organic Salted Caramel Waffle by Honey Stinger – Lol, that name is great. Honey Stinger. You know what else is great? Stroopwafel, which is what this is. It was gooey, delicious, and unsurprisingly amazing with the addition of a sprinkle of salt.

Oatmeal Fruit Squeeze in Blueberry, Acai, & Flax by Munk Pack – YESSSSSSSSS! I’ve been waiting for LWF to send me another one of these tasty oatmeal goos! It may sound super funky (and trust me, I had my doubts the first time I ate one of these), but they are perfect for grabbing on the way out the door in the morning. It’s filling, convenient, and tastes super good. The oatmeal somehow doesn’t get soggy or gummy, so it’s also a feat of the scientific community.

Organic Wild Berry Fruit Snacks by Tasty Brand – My husband and I had a way-too-long discussion about the difference between fruit snacks and gummies, and it turns out it is a fundamental difference of our individual belief systems. He thinks that fruit snacks are made of fruit and gummies are candy, while I am correct in thinking that he’s totally wrong. The only difference is semantics, and both taste great. These gummy little fruit snacks are no exception.

Tasty Biscotti Thing – I honestly have no idea who made the biscotti pictured above because LWF forgot to include the insert in my box this month (whoops). I am probably the only person who noticed because I use it for blogging purposes, but rest assured, the biscotti was delicious.

Green Tea Latte Tea Candy by Bali’s Best – I love it when they sprinkle a few hard candies into the box, it’s like a little extra bonus. LWF has included these candies before (though maybe in a different flavor?) and they’re pretty good as far as hard candy goes. They’re not totally sugar, they actually taste like tea! And they might even have caffeine in them. I’ll know in about an hour.

Banana Bar by Nutryttiva – I’m a little confused about how they made this bar out of only bananas and lime juice. It might be lies, but the packaging says there are only bananas and lime juice in it. But it has texture. And it doesn’t taste bad. I am left confused.

Final Rating: A

As usual, I loved this box. There is literally nothing to dislike about a bunch of new and varied snacks that arrive at your door once a month without any effort on your part. That’s really all I have to say about that, it’s another great box from Love With Food!
