Welcome to the June Allure Beauty Box! (And Happy 4th of July, for those of you living in America. And for those of you not living in America, it’s the 4th of July for you, too. 🙂 )I always say the Allure Beauty Box is the best beauty subscription box for your buck, and here we are. The Allure Beauty Box is $15/month, which is $5 more than Birchbox, Ipsy and Play! by Sephora, but the Allure Beauty Box is so much better, in my opinion. And with the changes to the rewards program at Birchbox, it might be time to drop Birchbox and pick up the Allure Beauty Box!

I’ll be honest, it took me a little while to review this box because I ended up grabbing a few of the products and put them in my gym bag and they were just in regular rotation right away.

In addition to the awesome products, Allure always includes their minimag, which breaks down all the products in the way that only Allure editors can do. I love Allure magazine, so this is a great bonus for me.

I love how detailed this is. It really helps me when I’m trying to figure out the different products they send.

Here’s everything we got this month!

Klorane Shampoo With Mango Butter ($20/13.5 oz): Y’all, this smells SO GOOD. SO GOOD. The mango butter shampoo is supposed to nourish and provide moisture to dry hair. As someone with color-treated (blonde) hair, it tends towards dry-ness, so I’ll definitely use this. And I’ll be using it for awhile because this sample is so big!

I took this second picture just so you could see how big this “sample” is.

Pūr~lisse Blue Lotus SPF 30 Essential Daily Moisturizer ($55): I like this cream because it has SPF in it but doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. It wears very well under makeup and I’m a fan. I’m not sure if I will buy the full sized version, but I’ll definitely use all of the sample.

Pūr~lisse Blue Lotus Eye Adore Serum ($65): This stuff feels so nice on. It’s in gel form but not a sticky-type gel, so it goes great under makeup.

Julep Nail Color in April ($14/without Maven discount): Y’all know that I need more Julep polishes like I need a hole in my head. However, this is a pretty poppy-esque red so I may either keep it for myself or save it to give it as a present (which is why I’m not swatching the polish.)

Kardashian Beauty Cabana Bronze ($14.99): I’ll be honest with you. I do not want to look like a Kardashian. Therefore, I’m not really the target market for Kardashian beauty products. But here we are. Now that I own their bronzer, it’s not terrible. You can swirl the three shades to make a pretty color that isn’t too dark, which I was worried about. It’s also not super sparkly. So this could work for the summer, when I’m trying to give my face a bit of a light bronze-y glow. Tis the season!

Here is a little swatch of the Kardashian Beauty Cabana Bronze bronzer. I swiped it with my fingers a few times so it would show up.

Leaders Tomato SuperFood Coconut Gel Mask ($6/each): Sheet masks are kind of the best, and I love starting out my weeks with one, on Sunday nights. It’s also Matt’s least favorite time. He pretends to want to escape out the window, T-Rav-style, when I wear these.

Final Grade: A+

I loved every product I received in June’s Allure Beauty Box! Obviously, the shampoo smells amazing and that sample is going to last me awhile! The Pūr~lisse day cream and eye serum are both getting used regularly and I think I’m even going to use that Kardashian bronzer. (But don’t tell anyone-  I have my pride.)
