It’s been a while since I’ve bought a Memebox, so I had to remedy that when they came out with a few new mini boxes! I picked up the new Mini K-Beauty Hair Kit that was full of seriously awesome hair products for only $10, plus the $12 Summer Essentials box (but I’ll review that one once I’ve had a chance to try everything).

Memebox doesn’t offer a subscription box, but they do curate a ton of awesome boxes that are constantly rotating. They sell K-beauty products for pretty cheap, which is always super tempting.

FullSizeRender

This box was entirely Lador products, which is a Korean brand I was not familiar with. For $10 it was worth checking out – and I’m so glad I did. First of all, each product was FULL SIZE!!! For $10, that is amazing. Also, I ended up really liking everything in the box. That so rarely happens.

Lador Damage Protector Acid Shampoo – $8: So this was a full-sized bottle, which was awesome. I really liked this shampoo a lot, enough to buy another bottle. It’s pH balanced for your hair and it works to protect it from damage. It also contains Argan oil so it doesn’t dry out your locks. My hair felt stronger and more nourished after using this for a week.

Lador Hydro LPP Treatment – $10: This moisturizing treatment is part collagen treatment, part conditioner, but entirely awesome. I’ve been using it a couple times a week and my hair is bouncier, shinier, and softer.

Lador Perfect Hair Fill Up Ampoule – $4: Memebox is all about ampoules. I was confused by this at fist, but after using it I really liked it. It’s a liquid concentrate that you mix with water. It gels up, turns into a lather, and you smear the goo into your hair. After 30 minutes you are free to rinse it out and enjoy the shocking amount of shine and bounce your hair now has. 30 minutes is a long time for me to do a hair treatment, but you use very little of this product at once so it will last for a while.

Eco Before Care Keratin PPT – $7: I’m still unclear about the purpose of this spray, but I gather that it’s a type of heat protectant. I’ve been spritzing it on the ends while my hair is damp when I plan on using a straightening iron and that seems to work out fine. I do know that it’s supposed to help mend split ends –  I have noticed the ends of my hair have been smoother and softer!

Scalp Scaling Spa Hair Ampoule – $4: This is the only product I haven’t tried from the box because it seems really similar to the Fill Up Ampoule above, but you only leave it on your hair for 1-2 minutes, so I’m not sure what my problem is. My skin is pretty sensitive, so the fact that this is for sensitive scalps is pretty cool.

BONUS ITEM! Lemon Green Caviar Essence & Tox Tightening Pack by Neogen Code 9: This was a freebie they threw in the shipping box! I love free extras. This looks like a biohazard warning label, but I absolutely loved it! This was a sample wipe of a skin treatment that made my skin feel incredibly smooth, tight, and bright. I would totally buy this full-sized (and it’s currently on sale for $35, so maybe I will).

Final Rating: A+

Memebox always puts together the best boxes. This one was entirely full-sized products, which was amazing. If I had bought each item individually it would have been over $33, but I paid $10 for all of it (plus the bonus skin treatment)! I wasn’t familiar with the Lador brand before, so this was a great way to try a ton of their products for pretty cheap. Definitely great value!

Jill
