I was excited when Valentia contacted me about an opportunity via Brandbacker to review their Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer.

I have been on the lookout for a new lightweight moisturizer and I was looking for one that will help even skin tone and help lighten dark spots, as the Valentia moisturizer claims. However, the first thing I noticed was its sheer size! The bottle is a full 4 ounces! Which makes it one of the biggest bottles on my vanity!

So here’s the full lineup of the benefits of Valentia’s Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer:

  • ALL-DAY HYDRATION: Botanical Hyaluronic Acid and Shea Butter work in harmony to flood the skin with the exact moisture it needs, for immediately rehydrated and fresh feeling skin.

  • EVENS SKIN TONE: Smoother skin is healthier skin! This moisturizer is rich in antioxidants and vitamins to replenish the nutrients your skin needs for a more even complexion.

  • LIGHTENS DARK SPOTS: Infused with Kojic Acid, an antioxidant known for its skin-lightening properties, say good-bye to dark spots as you watch them vanish away.

  • RESTORES RADIANCE: The magical Ginseng plant boosts skin-firming collagen, fights wrinkles, and energizes your skin for a brighter and rejuvenated look!

  • PERFECT BOTH DAY & NIGHT: No need for two separate moisturizes. Simplify your skin care routine with just one that provides all the benefits you need. Try our Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer Today – RISK FREE – with our LIFETIME GUARANTEE.

So, my verdict? The inclusion of Shea Butter made this moisturizer a little too heavy for me, honestly. It’s even kind of confusing when I think about whether it sinks into my skin because I feel like it mostly just sits on top. The confusing thing is that I always relate shea butter as an ingredient in body lotions so it confuses me when I see it highlighted as an ingredient in a facial moisturizer, especially one that claims to feel lightweight. I think this would be great for super dry or mature skin but even though I have dry skin, it’s too much for me.

I also am not quite sure if I’ve noticed any evening of the skin tone or lightening of dark spots, but it’s possible that I didn’t use it long enough.

However, this is just my opinion! If you are interested in trying Valentia’s Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer for yourself, you can click here to buy it for $25 on AmazonAnd don’t forget, you’ll get 4 ounces! That is sooo much in the beauty world!
