Product Review: Valentia Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer

I have been on the lookout for a new lightweight moisturizer and I was looking for one that will help even skin tone and help lighten dark spots, as the Valentia moisturizer claims. However, the first thing I noticed was its sheer size! The bottle is a full 4 ounces! Which makes it one of the biggest bottles on my vanity!

So, my verdict? The inclusion of Shea Butter made this moisturizer a little too heavy for me, honestly. It’s even kind of confusing when I think about whether it sinks into my skin because I feel like it mostly just sits on top. The confusing thing is that I always relate shea butter as an ingredient in body lotions so it confuses me when I see it highlighted as an ingredient in a facial moisturizer, especially one that claims to feel lightweight. I think this would be great for super dry or mature skin but even though I have dry skin, it’s too much for me.

I also am not quite sure if I’ve noticed any evening of the skin tone or lightening of dark spots, but it’s possible that I didn’t use it long enough.
