October is the month of the holo! Julep Maven’s October collection was full of rich, dark shades and several brand new holos. So let’s get on with it and see what I got!

Why you’ll love it: This is one of the best boxes out there because you get to actually choose what you get! Each month, Julep releases a new collection of different nail polish colors, beauty and skincare products and you get to choose which ones you want in your box.
Katya ($11.20): Açai Berry Crème – The most perfect fall shade! It’s such a dark berry that it’s almost black but not. I wish it felt more like fall but until it does, I’m going to dress the part.
Ebony ($11.20): Graphite Holographic – This is one of the prettiest holos I have ever seen! It takes my love of grey and combines it with my love of holos.
Desiree ($11.20): High-Gloss Holographic Top Coat – Did I mention my love of holos? The Julep community has been clamouring for a holo top coat for years and now we finally have one. I hope it’s just as sparkly and pretty as I want it to be!

Libra – Flirtatious Nude Metallic ($11.20): This color is so shiny and pretty! It’s such a gorgeous silver-y lavender. It is so shimmery that it was really hard to take swatch pictures because it just shone when the light hit it!
I tried to swatch Libra but because it is so shiny at almost every angle, it did not photograph well, so I tried to just take a different picture of the bottle. 🙂
Love Your Bare Face ($22.40): This is a product that has been in previous boxes and it’s one that I love! I do the whole duo-cleansing thing, which means I start washing my makeup off with an oil wash like this, which helps dissolve it. Then I follow up with one of a variety of different cleansers I have.
Julep Lip Gloss in Posh ($16): I have talked about this lip gloss before… I really can never have enough of it. So when I see it available to add to my box, I always do. I usually have it everywhere but somehow, I didn’t pack it in my suitcase for a wedding I went to recently and I had a mini meltdown. #NeverAgain
