Check out the snacks we got this month:
Beanitos White Bean Chips in Garden Fresh Salsa and Sweet Chili & Sour Cream: I gave LWF some side eye when I saw that two of the snacks this month were just two different flavors of the same snack, but I loved the first one so much that I was super happy I had a second on hand. It’s almost as if LWF knew I would over-indulge. Freaking psychics.
Dick & Jane Educational Snack Cookies: We’ve received these before, but that’s totally fine with me. I’m not about to complain about cookies that cross my path. These little sugar cookies are delicious.
Westminster Bakers Whole Wheat Snack Crackers: I needed (NEEDED) some hummus the other day and realized I had no crackers or anything to dip in it. Normally this isn’t a problem, as the cracker is merely the vessel by which the hummus is transported, but I figured I should use these instead of a spoon. I do live in a civilized society, after all. I regret nothing, these crackers were tasty and delivered the hummus to my mouth with zero issues.
Oregan Chai The Original Chai Tea Latte: I’m not huge into chai tea, but my favorite reader is, so I put this pack aside for him to enjoy (hi Dad!). This is a powdered mix with milk and spices already mixed into the tea, so it seems like a pretty easy way to mix up a bath of chai tea, if that’s what you’re into.
Divina Fig Spread: As soon as my crackers were gone, I realized I should have used them to try this fig spread. As usual, I snacked before I thought things through (story of my life).
Awake Energy Granola Dark Chocolate & Peanut Butter Bar: The only way to improve on a chewy granola bar is to add dark chocolate and peanut butter. So what we have here is the image of granola perfection, since it’s practically a dessert (though will be consumed as a snack because that’s how I roll).
Brown & Haley Almond Roca Buttercrunch Toffee: This is another snack we’ve received before, but I have no problem with that. This toffee is light and crunchy, plus chocolate. Two thumbs up.
Annie B’s Apple Caramel: For me, nothing says autumn like caramel apples. Not even pumpkin spiced everything can compete with leaves crunching under foot and munching on a caramel apple. Now that I’m an adult and have to consider the safety of my fillings, crunching into one of those puppies is not something I’m willing to do so freely, so it’s nice to have the experience packed into a more manageable two-bite caramel.
Final Rating: A
I’m not sure why I bother rating Love With Food boxes anymore. They’ll always get an A. Well, unless they send me something with mayo in it, they’ll always get an A.
