Hello! I know it’s March but I’m still working my way through a few February Boxes, so here is my review (with a little help from Matt) of the February Gentleman’s Box!

Gentleman’s Box

Price: $25/month

Box Type: Lifestyle & beauty, full-sized products

Why you’ll love it: Gentleman’s Box is a subscription service for men providing the essentials for the modern gentleman. Items inside may range from grooming supplies to wardrobe accessories – each hand selected to complement the gentleman’s lifestyle and align with our monthly theme. Four to six hand-selected products for men, accompanied by a one-year subscription to GQ magazine (U.S. and Canada only), are delivered right to your doorstep – with the content’s value always triple your monthly cost.

So let’s see what’s inside the box!

First things first… The Gentleman’s Box comes with an insert called The Gentleman’s Post which describes content under the themes “Look Good,” “Feel Good” and “Be Good.” The fashion accessories in the box fell under “Look Good” and also included styling tips and inspiration, while “Feel Good” described a few of the other things from the box but also had things like tips to improve your mental health and a contest to caption some pictures. “Be Good” had tips on how to make relationships last, another #GentlemansChallenge to make sure you are taking care of your heart, health-wise.  With 22 pages, this booklet is definitely very thought out!

Check out all of the things that we received in the February Gentleman’s Box!

Gentleman’s Essentials Tie ($29): Matt really loves this tie! These kinds of colors are newer for his wardrobe so he needs a different shirt to wear this but he’s excited to. It’s a little flannel/felt-ish so I think this will be perfect to hold onto for Fall!

Gentleman’s Essentials Pocket Square ($19): Matt likes this pocket square but as I mentioned above, he doesn’t have a lot of these types of colors in his wardrobe currently but he does hope to be able to use this someday. As of now, he’s never used a pocket square but I know he really likes the idea of it so someday, he’ll put this (and the others he’s received from Gentleman’s Boxes) to use.

Sock Eden Socks ($15): I couldn’t find a web presence for Sock Eden which is kind of weird but what isn’t weird are the socks themselves. Matt likes them a whole lot. I think the socks he’s received in these boxes have become some of his favorites. (The ones from his December box are in heavy rotation.)

Detroit Grooming Co. Comb/Bottle Opener ($25): Neither of us really understood this tiny comb very much. Like, is it for a beard? A cat? There’s also a bottle opener on it which is really confusing. I guess if you don’t have much hair and need a comb but ALSO need to open a beer RIGHT THEN, this is the product for YOU.

Harry’s Face Wash ($7): Matt and I had a recent experience when I thought it would be funny if he tested a face wash routine and it went… poorly. It is kind of a funny story but I’ll save it for another day. But spoiler alert: it ended with him needing to take a benadryl because he was having a major allergic reaction. So, needless to say… Matt is not trying any other face products ever again. In conclusion, he won’t be trying the Harry’s Face Wash samples.

Final Grade: A

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again – Gentleman’s Box is such a great box for $25! Matt is really loving expanding his accessory collection and always enjoys opening the box and seeing what he gets. As I said earlier, he is a huge fan of the socks he’s received!
