Jill and I haven’t purchased the last few Target Beauty Boxes but when we saw this one go on sale, we could not buy it fast enough! Read on to find out why we were so excited about it!
Price: $7-$10/month, but not a subscription. You just have to sign up to receive our emails and we will let you know when they go on sale!
Box Type: This is a beauty/skincare box that contains products you can find in Target. Some are your typical drugstore fare and others are new, cool products that Target is bringing to the forefront.
Why you’ll love it: First, the value is always amazing – you will only pay about $10 and you’ll always get a few full-size products that make the box worth much more than you paid. Second, shipping is usually free. (It wasn’t one time, but it usually is.) Third, who doesn’t love Target?
So… what did we get?
Look at all the things! I am pretty sure I love everything, which is almost unheard of.
Soapbox Bamboo Shampoo ($5.99) and Soapbox Bamboo Conditioner ($5.99): These little babies were the reason I picked up this box! I like having small shampoos and conditioners for my gym bag, so I almost don’t even care about the brand or formula at all- just wanted those tiny containers! Haha. That said, this brand is kind of cool because for every product sold, a bar of soap is given to someone in need, not only abroad but in the US also.
Skinfix Foaming Oil Cleanser: I’m really interested to try this because I am totally into oil cleansers but I’m not sure what a foaming oil cleanser is like. With a typical oil cleanser, you apply it to dry skin and rub the oil around so it kind of breaks up your makeup and then you rinse it of with water. With this, you apply it on damp skin and then it foams up. I’m interested to see how it takes off makeup.
Jergens Natural Glow Wet Skin Moisturizer ($8.69): This is a product I actually already own and love. I’ve raved about their regular wet skin moisturizers because I just love them so much. I was in Target a few weeks ago, attempting to buy more of it but they only had this version of it. I wasn’t mad because I always liked the Natural Glow line so I was happy to try it. I’m still working on my “glow” but I think it’s giving my arms the slightest bit of natural color, which I am happy about.
Dove Volume & Fullness Dry Shampoo ($3.94): This caught my eye because I love words like “volume” and “fullness” because my hair is “limp” and “sad.” I have only sprayed it in my hair around the house as I’m blogging and doing chores so I haven’t really styled with it but it gave my hair some decent texture so I am cautiously optimistic!
MISSHA Time Revolution First Treatment Essence ($49): I am so excited to get this box since it contains an essence! Jill is always telling me about all of her essences and that I should be using one. We have the type of relationship where we are sometimes able to tell each other what to do and we’re OK about it. A few years ago, I told Jill she needed to fill in her eyebrows. Jill told me she uses a million skincare products every day and I dutifully followed suit. But I am still new to the essence game so I am very excited to try a new one. I know Jill was super excited about this box because it has an essence! TBD if I am going to incorporate a $50 (yikes!) essence into my routine.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Lip Shine in Pink ($8.99): Interestingly enough, this is the only product in the box that I was not super excited about. It’s kind of a sticky basic pink gloss. It’s supposed to be as hydrating as a balm and it does feel nice on the lips. I wish I was more excited about this! This isn’t a bad product whatsoever, I guess I’m just not super fired up about light pink lipstick? I don’t know!
Final Grade: A
This was an amazing box for just $7. I’m definitely going to be using almost everything in here right away. Like, I have put these products in my vanity to use already because I just can’t wait!
I’m sure this box is long gone by now but we almost always give y’all the head’s up about new boxes so if you want the 411, subscribe to our emails!

Lauren
