OK, fair warning: This is kind of going to be a boring review of the March Julep Maven box. I am mostly stocking up on things I have purchased a few times before, so I am sorry in advance! That said, I thought y’all might like to know about the products that I buy from Julep over and over, so hence, this blog!

Julep Maven

Price: $20/month but varies by what you choose

Box Type: Mostly nail polish, but also some beauty and skincare products

Why you’ll love it: This is one of the best boxes out there because you get to actually choose what you get! Each month, Julep releases a new collection of different nail polish colors, beauty and skincare products and you get to choose which ones you want in your box.

This month, I got 3 products in my box bringing my total to $21.64.

Julep used to send the cute crinkly paper in the boxes but I think the brown paper is easier for people to recycle, so they switched to this. Personally, I always saved and re-used the crinkly paper, so I’m a little sad they changed it!

Here is everything I got! Of course, I did get one new polish this month, so read on to see more about that and everything else!

Julep Vanish– Weirdly, I can’t find this on their site anywhere! Maybe they are reformulating it or something? I did find it in the product set I linked to for $30. I use this stuff every time I do my nails to make my cuticles a little softer before pushing them back. I love it.

Julep Love Your Bare Face ($22.40): This is currently out on the Julep site but I linked to the Ulta listing- that’s right! You can now find Julep products at Ulta, which is really cool. I use this cleansing oil literally every day. It’s the first step of my nighttime skincare process: I rub this oil all over my face and eyes to breakdown my makeup. After rinsing, I use a water-based cleanser with my Clarisonic to get everything even more clean, but in a super gentle way. I have bought so many bottles of this cleansing oil- I’ve tried more expensive brands and I always come back to this!

Julep Jyliana ($11.80): Smoky Jade Creme: I really love this color because it’s unlike anything I already have- really! It’s kind of in between a teal and an army green. Though smoky jade creme is also an accurate description. I’m wearing this right now and I love it!

Here’s the swatch… but I might post pics of my nails on Instagram, so keep an eye out for that!

Final Grade: A

I loved this month’s Julep Maven box! I loved everything I chose this month which is always a good thing. They also included some nail polish remover samples, which are single use polish removers. I love those things. They are PERFECT for travel, so I am glad they are including useful samples instead of candy I never ate. 🙂
