It’s time for the May Gentleman’s Box and I have to say, while I am constantly impressed with the quality of this box, I think this is the best box that Matt has ever received!

So… onto the box!
As I say every month, one of the coolest things about this box is the little magazine they include each month, The Gentleman’s Post, which describes content under the themes “Look Good,” “Feel Good” and “Be Good.” I am always so impressed with the curation of the magazine because I think it’s a nice touch to put so much thought into a men’s box. Sometimes I think women are spoiled with all of our options but I think this is such a great box for men, especially for the price point of $25!
This month, Gentleman’s Box partnered with Jim Beam Black which is pretty cool, and reflected in some of the items.
Jim Beam Black Ice Tray (can’t find this online for a price, so this must be a bonus item): This is a great silicone ice cube tray for giant blocks of ice. Matt loves this type of ice cube, as he’s taken to drinking a glass of bourbon at night with one big ice cube, so this is perfect.
Woodchuck Wooden Coasters ($35): These special Jim Beam coasters are an exclusive to Gentleman’s Box but you can get different wooden coasters from Woodchuck if you were so inclined. Matt was really impressed with the quality of these and so was I! I love having more coasters around, especially for entertaining.
Southern Scholar Socks ($12): Matt loves these socks. I think Matt loves the socks in every Gentleman’s Box but he really liked these because he doesn’t have any socks in this color, which he really likes.
Salt + Dapper Tie ($39): Matt loves this tie. He even said specifically that it is “awesome” and we all know that Matt’s main descriptor is “good” so you KNOW he must be excited.
The Dark Knot Camden Lapel Pin ($29): Umm first of all. The name The Dark Knot? Genius. I see what you did there. Also, this is the first one of these little pins that Matt has actually shown any sort of excitement over. Of course, he needs a new outfit to go along with it but when DOESN’T he need a new outfit?
AJ Murray’s Kentucky Bourbon Lotion ($4): Y’all. This stuff smells like bourbon. Like, literally a shot of bourbon. I smelled it and I had to step back because, whew! I haven’t done a shot of bourbon or straight whiskey in awhile and this totally smells like it. I don’t think I could use this… so I guess this is a good thing this isn’t my box, isn’t it? Hahaha. This is Matt’s box.
Final Grade: A+
The May Gentleman’s Box was seriously amazing! Matt thought it was awesome and loved everything in it so this is definitely a win. This is also one of those times when I can’t believe this box is only $25. I mean, come on! There are so many amazing things in it and Matt will use it all. And isn’t that the subscription box jackpot?
