I meant to get this box posted in October, but it’s the day after Halloween, so we are close enough to pretend.

See what I meant by I should have posted this in October? This month’s honoree was clearly Stephen King, and I thought it was cool what they did with the red splatter look on the typically white paper.
And they even included a red balloon. I’ve never seen “It” nor do I have the desire to, but it was clearly a big deal this year. Especially on YouTube, where I have seen like 15,000 tutorials on how to do a “Glam Pennywise.”
As usual, the little magazine they include each month, The Gentleman’s Post, is the bomb. It describes contents under the themes “Look Good,” “Feel Good” and “Be Good.” I am always so impressed with the curation of the magazine because I think it’s a nice touch to put so much thought into a men’s box. Sometimes I think women are spoiled with all of our options but I think this is such a great box for men, especially for the price point of $25!
Lord of Ties Tie ($30): Matt REALLY loved the tie this month. It’s kind of a flannel-ish material which makes it perfect for Fall. I’m mostly mad the company is called Lord of Ties instead of Lord of THE Ties. THAT WOULD BE WAY FUNNIER.
Dibi Suspenders ($60): This was the “big ticket” item this month but sadly, these just aren’t Matt’s style. He said he might make them work if he’s wearing a suit someday, but according to Matt, he’s just not hipster enough to pull them off.
Dibi Shoe Laces ($10): Matt was completely neutral on these shoelaces. He thinks they are cool but honestly doesn’t care about them one way or the other.
Keep It Simple Socks ($12): Matt LOVED these socks! He thought the bow ties were cool and the colors are great and neutral. He’s already worn these a few times.
Final Grade: B
Even though this wasn’t our favorite Gentleman’s Box, it was still a nice box, as the tie and socks were big hits and will get a lot of use! The suspenders were nice, just not our jam. I may end up donating them, unclear.
I still think the box is a great value and if you know a guy who likes accessories, you might want to get this for him by clicking here!
