There’s even a full-size product this month!
Oribe Gold Lust Repair & Restore Shampoo & Conditioner ($17-$182 for full size): If there’s an Oribe sample up for the taking, you know I’m going to grab it. I’ve wanted to try this shampoo/conditioner duo for a while, but it’s So Freaking Expensive that I haven’t been able to bring myself to buy it, so I was super excited to get these (relatively large) samples! This duo is meant to help repair damaged hair and pump it full of hydration for softness. Best of all, they have that iconic Oribe scent that I cannot get enough of.
Clark’s Botanicals Age Defying Radiance Cream ($119 for full-size): OMG this cream. Usually when I see a price tag like that, I assume it’s all hype, but this cream is pretty awesome (though I probably won’t drop that kind of cash on it). This sample is also HUGE. Like, will-last-for-weeks huge. It acts like an instant filter for your skin, evening out fine lines and pores while hydrating like crazy.
Laura Geller New York Fortifying Lashes Eyelash Primer ($24, received full-size!!): This lash primer plumps and defines lashes – and it actually works! You can wear this under mascara or alone because the best part is that it’s tinted! Some lash primers are white or chalky, which looks awful if you don’t perfectly cover it with mascara, but since this one is tinted it actually looks like a light mascara when used alone. The formula also strengthens lashes and prevents breakage, which is perfect for folks who use falsies (I’m not coordinated enough to be one of them though).
Smashbox Photo Finish Radiance Primer ($39 for full-size): I think I’ve gotten about 100 samples of the regular Photo Finish primer in boxes since starting this blog, but this is the first time I’ve gotten this one! I use primer every time I wear foundation, and I absolutely LOVE primers that have some shine to them. It gives skin such a nice glow! This one honestly could even be worn alone for a little radiance boost, but looks subtle and pretty under makeup. It’s also got hyaluronic acid and shea butter in it to keep your skin soft and moisturized. I thought I was completely over Photo Finish, but this just hooked me back in.
Final Rating: A+
I absolutely loved this box! I am really excited about the new Photo Finish primer, plus the Oribe samples are amazing. Best yet, we got a full-sized product that costs more than double the price of the whole box! If this is the foot Birchbox is starting out 2018 with, then we are going to be in for a good year.
