I totally stole this idea from the We Heart This gals, so I def want to give them credit! I love their blog so much – I’ve been subscribed for a few years now!

There have been a few things in my Ulta cart for awhile now but I haven’t quite pulled the trigger, so I thought I would share what they are and why I want them. Who knows, maybe I’ll talk myself out of some of these. But let’s be real, I will probably make myself more excited about everything.

Dominique Cosmetics Latte Palette ($42): Dominique Cosmetics is a brand new makeup brand from YouTuber Christen Dominique. Out of all of the people I watch, this gal seems like the absolute sweetest person in the whole world. Like, maybe even a little TOO sweet? But seriously, she seems super nice and she recently launched her brand with this eyeshadow palette. Is it a warm neutrals palette? Yes, basically. But the shimmer shades and the pops of color just speak to me. I wanted it when it first launched on her site a few months ago but now her brand is being carried at Ulta, which is awesome for her but mostly for me. I love that I can get my Ulta points with my purchase and returns are much easier with them than an internet-only brand. Do I need this palette? No. Have I wanted it for awhile? Yeah, I have. I’ll likely end up getting this at some point. Probably.

At the moment, the Latte Palette is the only product by the brand, but she has teased some pictures of an upcoming palette looking thing with lemons on the front, so I’m very interested in seeing what she will come out with next. Another shadow palette? Highlighters?

After thinking about this, I moved this from my cart to my Loves list. I think I could swing a few of the less expensive products right now, so I will save the Latte palette for a special occasion. But I still wanted to share with y’all that I WANT to buy this now. 🙂

J. Cat Beauty Pris-Metal Chrome Eye Mousse in Forest Night ($5.99): I haven’t tried anything from J. Cat Beauty, which is a lesser-known drugstore brand. However, I saw a video on these shadows awhile back and they looked really good! I have a strong feeling that these shadows are very similar to Colourpop Super Shock Shadows, but I am still curious to try one out. I think this color is really gorgeous and at $6, I’m definitely down to try one.

Bliss Jelly Glow Ball Cleanser ($16): I don’t know if you can tell by just this one picture, but Bliss has recently re-branded! Gone is the blue packaging… and the expensive price-point. Bliss has re-vamped their entire product line with brand new products with a much more affordable price tag, and they are now even in Target – I saw the end-cap last week! (In addition to the regular Bliss retailers like Ulta, of course.) I have not ever tried a jelly ball cleanser, but I saw Tati’s review of the Boscia Jelly Ball Cleanser last year and I’ve always been so curious to try it! But have I been $20 curious? Unclear. $16 isn’t THAT much cheaper than $20, so I’m not saving a ton, but I like the idea of the Bliss version. It is supposed to be radiance boosting and smells like geranium versus the charcoal deep clean of the Boscia one.

I am good on face wash right now, especially since I just picked up this Makeup Melt Jelly Cleanser from the new Bliss line from Target, as it looks very much like a dupe for my beloved Glossier Milky Jelly. I haven’t tried the Bliss version yet tho, as I’m waiting until I am out of the real deal. I’ll definitely review this in the future!

Essence Make Me Brow in Browny Brows ($2.99): If y’all read my brow gel blog the other day, you’ll know that I am curious to try this product in a darker color. And for $3? Done. Done and done.

Ulta Matte Eye Primer (On sale for $6 but normally $12): I have been using this eye primer for several months now and I LOVE this. I haven’t ever tried the Mac paint pots but from what I’ve seen in videos, this looks like it works very similarly. It’s not too sticky where it doesn’t spread evenly or cause shadow to go on patchy over it and I just love it. I used the Urban Decay Primer Potion for years and years and I love this $6 primer so much more. At this price, I might even get two.

Catrice Rock Couture Extreme Volume Mascara ($7.99): I have never tried anything from Catrice but I’ve seen a few people talk about this mascara so I’m really curious about it. I am a mascara junkie – you rarely see me walk out of Target without a new mascara (or let’s be honest – a new lipstick/gloss.) But Target doesn’t carry Catrice, so I think I can only get it from Ulta online.

So that’s it! Do you see anything you’re interested in picking up? What’s in your Ulta cart right now? Let me know in the comments!

A self-proclaimed beauty junkie/hoarder with a serious Sephora problem. This blog is a total rationalization of that problem. Everything is TOTALLY fine. Her free time is a mixed combination of making fun of reality TV with her husband, hanging out with cats and finally trying to figure out how to do her hair.
