If you read last week’s Target Beauty Box review, you know that I actually purchased two of the boxes recently, and below is my review of the second box. The box I talked about on Friday was now only available in stores, but if you like the looks of this one, you can still buy it online! (At the time of writing the blog, that is.)

Target Beauty Box

Price: $7-$10/month, (this month was $7) but not a subscription. You just have to keep an eye on the Target app (and in stores!) around the beginning of the month.

Box Type: This is a beauty/skincare box that contains products you can find in Target. Some are your typical drugstore fare and others are new, cool products that Target is bringing to the forefront.

Why you’ll love it: First, the value is always amazing – you will only pay about $10 and you’ll always get a few full-size products that make the box worth much more than you paid. Second, shipping is usually free. (It wasn’t one time, but it usually is.) Third, who doesn’t love Target?

I really like that they include a card that talks about the products in addition to some Target coupons. I mean, I’m always at Target so I might as well save some money. They also included some samples of the Olly Undeniable Beauty Vitamins and they are so delicious. I ate them right away. I’ve bought the full-size before, too.

Gummy vitamins remind me of this tweet, which I love.

And here’s everything we got in the Be You(tiful) Target Beauty Box!

Honest Beauty The Younger Face Deep Hydration Cream ($34/full-size): Since my skin is combo/oily, I don’t typically need a deep hydration cream in the spring/summer months. But I’ll either give this to a friend or save it for next winter! Though I’m curious to test the formula, as this is a pricy full-sized product.

Nexxus Keraphix Shampoo ($3.99) & Nexxus Keraphix Conditioner ($3.99): I bought this box for the little shampoo and conditioner for my gym bag but I’m disappointed to learn that I think it has sulfates in it. I still think it will be fine for short-term use, as it’s supposed to be great for damaged hair and, hello, bleach? So I’ll still use it. But I was hoping the ingredients would be a little better

L’Oreal Pure Clay Cleanser – Detoxify and Brighten ($5.89/full-size): I don’t typically use a clay cleansers all the time but I thought this might feel really good after the gym, after sweating a whole lot.

e.l.f. Gotta Glow Lip Tint in Perfect Pink ($6): This is a really light pink lip tint. I’ve only used it once but it seems like it would be nice for those no-makeup makeup days. Luckily, there is no castor oil in it (I was surprised!) so I look forward to using this more! It is also like one of those shades you can keep in your desk at work to just throw on without having to use a mirror.

Sinful Nail Color in Galac Sea ($1.99): This is the one item in the box that I probably won’t use. I definitely wear colorful nail polish but glitter polish is such a pain in the ass. It will chip super fast but then it’s really impossible to get off. Glitter nail polish, man. We’ll all be gone but they will know us by the trail of bobby pins and the glitter nail polish.

Simple Water Boost Micellar Makeup Remover Eye Pads ($6.99): I love these! I prefer the bigger wipes for taking off my makeup at the end of the day but these are fantastic for just cleaning up shadow fallout and things like that.

Final Grade: B

I really liked most of the products in the Be You(tiful) Target Beauty box but I wasn’t as excited about this box as the last one. However, if this box looks great to you, you can still get it!

Lauren
