Price: $15.00/month
Box Type: Monthly beauty box featuring 6 high end beauty product samples (and sometimes full-sized products!).
Why you’ll love it: Top brands, great price, new products that you will love! A great way to sample expensive products without committing to the price tag. Each box comes with an Allure mini-magazine that showcases each product and is as quality as you’d expect from a magazine powerhouse like Allure.

Y’all know I love the Allure Mini Mag, which details why the Allure editors like each of the included products. Last month, the mini mag paper itself was slightly lower quality but this month, it’s back to its previous quality, which is nice.
Here’s everything we got this month.
Kenra Dry Oil Control Spray ($19): I haven’t tried this yet but I’m a little afraid to, as oil tends to weigh hair down and I’m all about trying to get more volume in my life. The mini mag does say that it’s lightweight and WON’T weigh hair down. So I might try this the next time I’m doing a straight hair day to tame flyaways and hope I won’t get greasy!
L’Oreal Paris Elnet Satin Hairspray ($6.99): Every now and then, Allure will put in an extra item that doesn’t detract from the value of the box and this month, it was the Elnet Satin Hairspray, which I already use! I am really happy to have this because it is great for my gym bag. I’m also almost out of my full-sized version as well, so this will def come in handy for me.
Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Gold Eye Masks ($25/6 pairs): These are those little masks that go under your eyes, which can help soothe puffiness. I don’t see myself using these in the mornings before work or anything but this might be nice before a nice night out or something like that just to give my under-eye area a little extra moisture!
First Aid Beauty Hello Fab Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer ($14-$28): I have heard great things about this priming moisturizer from a lot of influencers who have dry skin! I have been afraid to buy this for myself in case it does make me greasier than usual but I have wanted to try it, so I’m glad this was the sample! I am interested to see if I like this more than my usual Ole Henriksen C-Rush Gel Creme.
St. Tropez Instant Tan Finishing Gloss ($25/full-size): This is a very slightly tinted lotion-y type “bronzer” which help make your legs a little more even, and a little more shiny. I mean, obviously you can use this all over, but I think I’ll mainly use this on my legs to give them a little extra somethin somethin.
Cle Melting Lip Powder in Desert Rose ($19.99): This is honestly the weirdest lip product I’ve ever used! It’s a powder but when you apply it, it feels sort of cooling like a cream! It dries down to a matte finish but it’s not uncomfortable at all. I think the color is perfect for my coloring, but might be better for Fall since the trend right now is all about that gloss life. But I do really enjoy this way more than I thought I would, so I was super excited to try this unique product!
Final Grade: B
I thought that the May Allure Beauty Box was great! I’ll use most of the products with the possible exception of the Kenra Dry Oil Control Spray, though I’ll still try it out. I think the variety of products and brands was great and I’m still really glad I have this subscription!
