Once again, I forgot that the Walmart Beauty Box existed until it showed up in my mailbox, but I’m still glad I have this subscription. For $5, I almost always get products I’m excited to try, so I definitely recommend this subscription!

WALMART BEAUTY BOX

Price: $5 per quarter

Box Type: A mix of drugstore beauty, hair and body product samples. There are two boxes, an “older” box which usually contains more skincare samples and a “younger” box, which sometimes gives you more “youthful” products. I was getting the younger one, and I think I still am. However, I tried to get the older one by changing my birthday so now I’m not sure which one I get!

Why you’ll love it: For less than the cost of a Venti Pumpkin Spice Latte, you can get a surprise box of samples to try. And because this is a quarterly box, you might forget you have it, like I do. Then it’s an even bigger surprise! This box is great for loading up your travel bag.

Walmart doesn’t have a little card with all of the products on it, which is kind of inconvenient but you know. It’s $5. No biggie. This probably matters less to y’all than it does to me, as I’m trying to write down the products here and y’all just want to use the products. #BloggerProblems

Softsoap Earth Blends Body Wash Coconut & Fig ($4.97): I haven’t used this yet but I’m excited to because I am not super picky about my body wash, and I go through these travel-sized body washes really quick since I get ready at the gym a few times a week.

Pantene Pro-V Sheer Volume Foam Conditioner ($5.97): I got this awhile back in a box – I think Allure Beauty Box? It’s definitely a really lightweight conditioner. In the past, I thought my hair was too fine and thin for conditioner, but that is not actually the case. I just don’t use it all over by the roots, but my hair definitely needs the moisture. And because I have color-treated hair, I need a bit more moisture than this product gives me. But if you are someone who doesn’t think you can use conditioner because you think it’s too heavy, this might be a great product for you!

Jergens Natural Glow Wet Skin Moisturizer ($8.64): If I’ve said it once on this blog, I’ve said it 100 times – I love this stuff. I tend to use the Medium/Tan version and this is the lighter one, but I’ll still use the heck out of this. Thank you, Walmart.

Soo Ae Acaí Berry Revitalizing Sleeping Mask ($2.50): I haven’t heard of this mask company before but since it’s actually a cream versus a sheet mask, I feel like this will actually last for several nights versus just one, so you will likely get yo’ money’s worth, if you choose to buy one of these single-serve masks.

Hello Sensitivity Relief Flouride Soothing Mint Toothpaste ($4.82): I have tried some Hello toothpaste in the past and while I loved the graphics and marketing they have, it really didn’t do anything for me at the time. However, my toothpaste preferences have changed since then, as I now like a less “strong” minty flavor, thanks to Quip. So I’m excited to have this for a weekend away!

Rembrandt 3 Day Whitening Boost Kit ($6): I feel like my teeth haven’t been the whitest yet so I’m definitely interested to see if this actually works! I have an actual bleaching kit from my dentist that I never used (They gave it to me for free before my wedding, but not enough time to actually use it before my wedding so I kind of forgot about it til… now.) so I should probably look into that if I wanted to make a big difference. But it would be an interesting experiment to see how this OTC version works. TBD.

They always include some brochures. Some just have more info about the products. Some (not all) have coupons, which is nice. I almost always just recycle them all immediately.

Final Grade: A

I love this lil $5 Walmart Beauty Box! I think it’s always worth the money and I pretty much always get stuff I’ll use or can stock my travel bag with. If you are interested in subscribing, click here!
