I always used to look forward to the Allure “Best of Beauty” issue, because I loved seeing what the Allure editors chose as “the best” beauty products. And now I look forward to the annual Best of Beauty Allure Beauty Box, where they include a few of their fave products for us to try, too! And honestly, this box does not disappoint!

ALLURE BEAUTY BOX

Price: $15.00/month

Box Type: Monthly beauty box featuring 6 high end beauty product samples (and sometimes full-sized products!).

Why you’ll love it: Top brands, great price, new products that you will love! A great way to sample expensive products without committing to the price tag. Each box comes with an Allure mini-magazine that showcases each product and is as quality as you’d expect from a magazine powerhouse like Allure.

How To Subscribe: Click here! They have a new referral program so def click our link!

And here’s everything! Yes. You are seeing a full-size MAC lipstick and Tarte lashes. And even some Drunk Elephant!

Obviously, the Allure Mini-Mag gets into all of the products and why the beauty editors chose each one. This is sometimes the best part of the box, as it’s much more descriptive than a normal insert.

M.A.C. Lipstick in Ruby Woo ($18.50): I was insanely happy when I saw this full-size lipstick in my box because for years and years I’ve seen bloggers, beauty editors and YouTubers alike all raving about the iconic MAC Ruby Woo shade. Somehow, I never bought it for myself but it was always at the back of my mind, and I always wanted to try it. I think this lipstick will be perfection for upcoming holiday parties. (Note: I also used to think that MAC lipsticks had castor oil in them, and maybe some of the other formulas do, but this one doesn’t!)

Tarte Tarteist Pro Lash Adhesive in Clear ($9): I really only wear lashes on special occasions, so while I have tried a few different glues, I’m still not an expert in this area. However, I’m willing to try this for an upcoming night out. In terms of packaging, this is definitely what I like – I really appreciate a little brush applicator rather than a toothpaste-esque tube. I feel like that gets really messy, where the brush helps you get glue exactly where you want it – your lashes.

Tarte Tarteist Pro Girl Boss Lashes ($12): I have never tried Tarte lashes before but these look really fluffy and beautiful. I hope to wear these for an impromptu photo session or a night out really soon!

Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial ($80): Jill and I have raved about this product for years now, so I’m excited for even getting a small amount in a box – this shiz is expensive! I really should be using this more often – I only use it every few weeks, so the full-size bottle I have has lasted me a long time. But I should really up this to about once a week. YOLO. When you first put it on, it does tingle a little bit, but after 20 minutes or so, your skin is extremely soft and smooth. Like, you won’t want to stop touching it, but you should. Your hands are dirty, stop it!

IGK Rich Kid Coconut Oil Gel ($29): I have only tried a few IGK products and while they haven’t become my absolute favorite, I love the whole aesthetic of the brand, and all of the products smell AMAZING. I don’t know what it is, but the fragrance of these products is what will keep me coming back. I don’t think an oil gel is going to be the best for my hair – maybe on days when I’m wearing it straight, versus when I’m trying to get some volume? I honestly don’t understand this product very much. But I do know for sure that if I use it, my hair will smell fabulous.

Final Grade: A

I always really enjoy the Best of Beauty edition of the Allure Beauty Box because we are sure to get some high-quality products, and they didn’t disappoint this month! From the full-size MAC lipstick to Drunk Elephant Baby Facial, and some beautiful Tarte lashes, this was a fantastic box, worth almost  $60!!! That’s really amazing for a $15 box!

This is always the box I recommend to people when they ask for a beauty box recommendation because I think it’s just so damn good! If you are interested, you should def click our link to subscribe!
