The best parts of waking up lately is discovering there is a new Target Beauty Box for sale. This time there were two boxes for sale… the Honor Roll box, which Jill and I will be co-writing soon and this Head of the Class box. Unfortunately, both boxes are now sold out… these babies sell out QUICKLY. This is why you need to subscribe to our blog for emails or follow us on Facebook so you can receive my alerts! It’s also great to be my friend for this reason, but we all can’t be so lucky. šŸ™‚

This box was $5 and worth every penny. Let’s check out what’s inside!Ā Ā I like the “composition book” look of the insert card and that neon green really popped against the black of the box.

Behold, all of the things!Ā

Wet n Wild Max Volume Plus Mascara: ($4.99) When I first looked at this mascara, I laughed at the name– mascara names are so funny to me. MAX VOLUME wasn’t enough on its own… but MAX VOLUME PLUS– that was the winner. The “plus” did it. I actually really liked this mascara. It doesn’t beat my Benefit Roller Lash mascara (but what does?) but the price is right.

Cover Girl ColorliciousĀ LipglossĀ ($7.99) I received the color Give me Guava and normally this sort of nude color does not work on me but since it’s sheer, it’s actually really pretty. The formula is moisturizing and non-sticky and I would be interested to try out some other colors also!

Goody Ouchless Elastics:Ā ($.99?) Y’all all know what hair elastics are, right? These are the thicker versions which are great though I tend to prefer the thinner versions. But a girl can never have too many hair ties.

Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Illuminating Dry Oil Spray: ($5.99) I’m a little nervous to try this spray. I think the size of this sample is awesome and I’m glad I get the chance to try it without buying a full-size version, but hair oils can sometimes make my hair, well, oily. And a bit flat. Which is the opposite of how I want my hair to look. All I want is volume all the time. MAX VOLUME PLUS. My suspicions were correct… while this made my hair smooth, it seemed like it made it TOO smooth. I think this would work much better for someone with thicker hair.

Yes To Cucumbers 10-Count Wipes: ($2.99) I’m totes into makeup wipes… I just received my first Yes To wipes in this month’s POPSUGAR Must Have box, but the Blueberry version. I was really happy with those but I actually prefer the cucumber scent so much more. It is so refreshing and it reminds me of cucumber infused water at the spas. There is almost nothing fancier than drinking cucumber water at the spa, is there? These wipes can give you a little taste of that while removing your eye makeup! Cool.

Hollywood Fashion Tape: (full size $8.99) I don’t dress too scandalously regularly where I need tape to hold my clothes in but it’s always good to have some of these on hand. I actually used this tape last year when I was a bridesmaid in a friend’s wedding and my dress was NOT cooperating. I’ll keep this in my closet for one of those Just In Case situations!

Bathery Pumice Stone: ($1.99) I’m going to be honest with you, I won’t use this. I am a brat and get fairly regular pedicures so this is going to go into my Donate pile. I know someone else will use this more than me!

Final Grade: A

Target Beauty Boxes always get A’s from me. For $5, I received over $20 worth of products. I was especially pleased with the Yes To Cucumber wipes, the Wet n Wild mascara and the Cover Girl lip gloss.

We will be sure to keep you posted about future Target Beauty Boxes but first you gotta do your part and sign up for Boxy Ladies email updates. And let’s be honest, you wanted to do that anyway.
