The June Love With Food box was awesome, as usual. For $8/month you can’t complain about a box full of snacks showing up on my doorstep every month! I get the regular Tasting Box, but there are a few options to choose from depending on how many snacks you want (and if you want gluten in your snacks).

In honor of being the first LWF summer box, they included snacks that were on the lighter side, which I appreciate! Instead of cookies and candy they sent filling, natural snacks that make your body happy in these hot months. Nothing against cookies, they are my snack of choice, but when I’m trying to shed a few pounds for shorts season they are kind of antagonizing.

Sinfully Thin Blue Corn Popcorn Popcorn is the greatest snack of all time. A seemingly endless bowl of it is low in calories, which translates into doing a ton of snacking with little consequence. The blue corn gives these kernels a cool hue, but it also contains less starch and more protein than white or yellow corn!

Snapz Original Crunchy Premium Apple Crisps I have said it before, but I really hate dried fruit crisps. They’re just not a snack I enjoy. That said, I chopped these up and added them to my oatmeal and they were awesome. (Lauren’s Note: Now that I get Love With Food also, I am learning so much from Jill! Including these in oatmeal is an amazing idea. If we get these types of snacks again, I’ll do that!)

You Love Mango Fruit Leather I was thinking this was a square piece of fruit leather, but it was actually a REALLY long sheet of heart-shaped fruit leathers! Seriously, there were like 20 2-inch hearts in this little pack. They tasted less like the all-natural snack they were and more like a Fruit Roll-Up throwback. It turns out I DO love mango fruit leather.

Snack Factory Original Pretzel Crisps Brian and I are big fans of pretzel crisps. They’re like thin, flattened pretzels that are usually flavored really well. These were plain, just salted, but were perfect dipped in the hummus (see below).

Raw Rev Glo Creamy Peanut Butter & Sea Salt Bar “Raw” as a descriptor in a packaged food item is about as appealing to me as “gluten-free” or “vegan”, so I did not have high hopes for this one. Shockingly, the texture and flavor were not only not horrible, but I actually enjoyed it! I ate it before heading to the gym and it kept me going through my workout and an hour or two after – thanks, protein!

Biscottea Traditional TeaTime Shortbread I loooooooooove shortbread. I have not met a shortbread cookie that I haven’t liked. This one was buttery, slightly sweet, and SUPER tasty.

Wild Garden Sundried Tomato Hummus Dip I’m not really a fan of most commercial hummus brands, truthfully. We make hummus at home and it’s pretty perfect, but when I’m sent a tube of hummus I am going to eat it. I dipped the pretzel crisps in it and it was a perfect mid-day snack.

Torie & Howard Fruit Chews LWF has sent these before, they’re basically all-natural Starbursts. Which is to say they are amazing.

BONUS ITEM! TRESemme Expert Selection Beauty-Full Volume Conditioner & Shampoo – I was very surprised to see haircare samples in my LWF box, but I will not complain about a free sample! I’ve been seeing this new TRESemme line around lately and it’s been intriguing – conditioning BEFORE shampooing? Tell me more. (Lauren’s Note: I’ll totally tell you SO MUCH MORE here.)

Final Rating: A

It’s no surprise that I loved this month, I love every LWF box. Each month is crammed with snacks, it’d be hard to find anything negative about that. Plus I’m pretty sure I could eat that shortbread every day for the rest of my life.
